Time To Fly - Team Project , It is a story of flocks of New Zealand native Tui, in which they set out a great journery across the land as they set their tree free from the danger of human destruction. This Project undertaken for the Graduate Diploma of Advanced 3D Productions incorporating live-action footage both on location and blue screen studio miniature, 3D creatures, and matte painting. Utilizing Maya, Mental Ray, and Nuke all within a 32bit full HD pipeline with linux platform .we completed the entire process in 7weeks As for myself . As a modelling lead responsible to model tui bird as realistc as possible,addintion to that worked on texturing of the bird and animating the tree and flocks of birds in the last shots . Inorder to make the bird realistic ,we met up with bird curator of Auckland Museum to take closer reference on anatomy and feathers of Tui bird. As well as the physical reference, we also built up our own video archive of Tui and other birds with similar flying pattern from online science community

Incipiens - This is fully 3D abstract piece was our teams first large project . This story all about a man’s struggle to overcome his depression over his life time in reverse chronological order, however he fails tragically. Especially in the world we live in today where there is constant conflict and economic recession, depression could easily succumb and devour our lives to the extent where some of us may lose the sense of direction and purpose in our lives. In this Project each of us focused on our strengths to complete this complex production. In pre-production we created a formidable task for ourselves with the abstract story line and unique painterly style. We had a great time coming up with solutions for the many technical challenges that confronted us.

Robotic Spherical HDRI Capture - R&D Team Project This team effort resulted in a the research, design, and physical creation and testing of a robotic device for spherical HDR image capture for use in image based lighting(IBL).
